Judge’s Tour with Takeshi Yasuda
The judge’s tour is always a highlight of the Portage Ceramic Awards’ opening festivities. We’re very fortunate to have Japanese-British ceramicist and teacher Takeshi Yasuda as this year’s international judge.
A practitioner for more than 50 years, his deep knowledge of both Asian and English traditions will bring a unique perspective to his selection process, which he will explain as he guides us through the exhibition in conversation with this year’s award winners.
This event is part of the Portage Ceramic Awards 2014 and the Clay O’Clock: An Auckland Festival of Ceramics tour of exhibitions across Auckland.
