In association with the exhibition, She wants to go to her bedroom but she can’t be bothered, we are hosting an exclusive hands-on jewellery workshop with Lisa Walker. Participants will create a number of their own unique piece of jewellery under the guidance of Walker, using found materials and contemporary techniques.

This workshop is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with contemporary jewellery under the personal supervision of this leading figure in the jewellery community, with a wealth of knowledge and international experience to share with participants.

Participants are welcome to make a weekend of it with our Winter Open Day. On Saturday 12 June, from 12.30pm attend a free pecha-kucha style series of short talks by four local jewellers, taking place in the Lopdell House Seminar Room, and from 2pm, Lisa Walker will be taking visitors through her new exhibition, before the formal opening of our new season of shows at 4pm in our Learning Centre.

Workshop information:
