The Kauri Project: Poster Series

In collaboration with the Kauri Dieback Management Programme, this exhibition of limited edition prints and city-wide poster campaign links five artists with researchers and iwi that uses art as a tool for activism and education. The aim is to encourage a deeper knowledge of the social, cultural and historical value of kauri and of potential impacts of kauri dieback. Artists Charlotte Graham, Philip Kelly, Tessa Laird, Natalie Robertson and Haru Sameshima lend their art practice to examine the current situation of kauri in context of its scientific, cultural, social, and economic histories and wider environmental concerns.
