At Te Uru on Saturday 3 August, Blue Planet Artist Group is presenting a unique one-day only event; a series of free workshops exploring environmental concerns through art, as well as an arts and crafts 'Trading Table.'
For these workshops we will be using recycled and repurposed materials to craft beautiful objects such as dream catchers, bracelets or necklaces, while at our 'Trading Table' anyone can trade their own handmade 'enviro' goods for artist-made items such as such as beeswax wraps, playful sock puppets and jewellery from environmentally conscious artists including DizziePixieDesigns, Mary Donald, Mayhla Howells and Zoe Nash.
Dream Catcher Workshop with DizziePixieDesigns:
10am – 12pm and 1–3pm (13 yrs. and over)
Jewellery-Making Workshop with Mayhla Howell:
10am – 12pm and 1–3pm (16 yrs. and over)
