Join art historian and curator Victoria Wynne-Jones for a conversation with Philippa Blair in her major solo exhibition Down under cover. Victoria will speak to Philippa about her experiences as a career contemporary artist, and investigate her connection to art history contexts both here and abroad. This is a chance to learn more about Philippa's practice and how he works challenge the conventional limits of painting.
Victoria Wynne-Jones is an art historian, curator and writer currently based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. She currently lectures in the disciplinary areas of Art History, Fine Arts and Dance Studies. Her research focuses on the intersections between dance studies and performance art as well as curatorial practice, feminisms, contemporary art theory and philosophy.
