SQUIGGLA: Free Family Event

Squiggla is a creative based learning application, developed by the Chartwell Trust for users of all ages to promote creativity and critical thinking through the exploration of mark-making. Squiggling is a type of free-form line drawing, like doodling, where you can just pick up a pencil and let your instinct and imagination take over. Encouraging creative, non-judgemental play is a key aspect of the app. Squiggla is available on i-devices through the app store, and on Android devices through Google Play, and is free to download and use.

For this drop-in workshop we invite families to view the exhibition Pokepoke from Yukihiro Taguchi, a playful exploration of improvisation through clay. Then join us in the Learning Centre to work on a collaborative painting using clay, and learn how to upload your drawing onto Squiggla.
