An opportunity for Te Uru Wait?kere Contemporary Gallery Incorporated members to hear about the gallery’s progress and plans for the future, and to join our governance committee.
We acknowledge that this meeting is later than the society rules recommend, and is not able to be notified with 28 days’ notice. We have had to move a previously planned date and have also awaited government announcements about the Covid-19 situation to ensure it will be safe to meet. We note the special legislation introduced under the Companies Act, which allows flexibility for non-profit organisations with regard to their rules and the timing of AGMs in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
In accordance with the rules of the Te Uru Wait?kere Contemporary Gallery Incorporated, there are two positions for Officers of the Society up for election, including the role of Secretary and Treasurer. Should you wish to submit a nomination, please request a nomination form, to be returned to the Gallery by the 21st of September. Any queries regarding these roles, nominations and other AGM matters can be addressed to the Secretary.
In accordance with our rules, the meeting agenda, the annual report, the balance sheet, and the previous AGM minutes will be made available to Members, at the gallery, no less than seven days before the meeting. Please ask at gallery reception.
Te Uru follows government guidelines with regard to operating safely during the Covid-19 pandemic. Attendees are requested to check-in for contact tracing and please stay home if you are unwell. This meeting can go ahead under Alert Level Two or lower. We will be in touch again regarding streaming options if Auckland will be at Alert Level 2.5 or higher.
The Governance Committee looks forward to seeing you at the AGM and thanks you for your support of our architecturally award-winning art gallery, a civic asset of national significance in the heart of West Auckland.
