
WEEK ONE: ANCIENT AOTEAROA
Monday: Design a geological timeline using textural media to place collaged fossils within.
Tuesday: Sculpt an endangered clay penguin from air drying clay to decorate with acrylic paints.
Wednesday: Construct a colourful dinosaur diorama within a dramatic prehistoric landscape.
Thursday: Create a magical painting of your favourite native bird combining paint and pastel layers.
Friday: Sketch and paint a tuatara in a forest habitat using watercolours with collaged flora and fauna.
3–7 July, 10am–1pm
WEEK TWO: ANCIENT AOTEAROA
Monday: Craft a dinosaur puppet using a dynamic range of colourful materials.
Tuesday: Use magnetic paint to create an ocean scene where movable Maui dolphins to leap around.
Wednesday: Make a kākāpō print to place onto a watercolour forest background.
Thursday: Paint a wildlife painting of extinct animals from Aotearoa then decorate a frame to complete.
10-12 July, 10am-1pm
