VISITING WITH A GROUP

Te Uru enjoys hosting groups and we are now able to accomodate large groups of people. please contact us to book in your visit or discuss a personalised gallery tour and to see how we can help you with any arrangements to make your outing more enjoyable. Entry to the gallery is still free.

DRAWING IN THE GALLERY

Drawing is welcomed in the gallery (pencil only, no ink, paint or charcoal) with sketchbooks (preferably no larger than 20 x 30cm). No easels or stools, and please avoid blocking access (i.e. stairs).

VISITING WITH A SCHOOL

Our education programmes are designed to complement learning in the classroom. We have a range of workshops designed to meet the needs of teachers and students. If you are planning a visit for a school group, please contact our Education Manager, Iona Matheson. See our Learn page for information about our upcoming education programmes and workshops.

ACCESS

If any of your visitors require special assistance during their visit, please call us in advance on (09) 817 8087. There is a parking space available for disabled visitors outside the front of the gallery. The gallery is accessible by wheelchair. Guide  and hearing dogs are welcome.
