Screen-printing workshop

Wellington Media Collective was a co-operative of graphic designers, printers, photographers and friends who came together to share their skills in graphic design and communication as a way to give political voice to community groups and individuals across a spectrum of cultural issues and campaigns for social justice.

In addition to producing new work for the exhibition On Repeat: the disruptive copy, Wellington Media Collective are running a screen-printing workshop at Te Uru. Join Collective member and designer Chris McBride in creating a typographical slogan that considers graphic design as a discursive tool and screen-printing as a potential medium for collaborative production and wide-spread distribution. Participants will receive a full set of prints made as part of the workshop.

03 September, 11am-3pm

$15 per person, which covers materials and attendance on both days.
