The Fairy Falls: Screening, artist talk and Book launch

To accompany the last weekend of Cushla Donaldson’s exhibition The Fairy Falls, Te Uru presents a trifecta of a film screening, artists talk and book launch.

Join us for a special screening in the Lopdell Theatre of Cushla Donaldson’s film The Great Ngaruawahia Music Festival, 2017. Beginning at 11am on Saturday 22 April, the screening (approx. 30 mins.) will be followed by an artist talk, in conversation with cinematographer and editor Adam Luxton and Curator Ioana Gordon-Smith. We will also be launching The Fairy Falls publication, designed by Matt Galloway and featuring texts by David Hall, Heidi Brickell and Ioana Gordon-Smith.

See The Great Ngaruawahia Music Festival video trailer here.

(This event is followed by the 1pm screening of Raise the Umbrellas about the 2014 Hong Kong Umbrella Movement, shown as part of the exhibition Picturing Asia.)
