This project invites three artists from Aotearoa to make work in response to chosen taonga from the collection of Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum.

In doing so, these artists will address the ways collections and archives, and the cultural heritages they represent, are remembered, revised, or re-enacted. The exhibition questions how the contemporary becomes historical, and what opportunities this passage presents for shaping records of time for the future.

This exhibition is made possible with the support of Tāmaki Paenga.
